Since the beginning of this year, Samsung Heavy Industries has hired a large number of foreign workers and has been implementing various support activities to help these foreign workers adapt well to Korea & the company. Samsung Heavy Industries is operating the Global Help Desk(foreign support center) to support counseling to all foreign workers working at the company, and it also operates online counseling separately. SHI is also trying to resolve language barriers by operating an intensive Korean language curriculum and provides video education to adapt to Korean life such as Korean laws and living etiquette. In addition, SHI provides education for cultural differences to the company's managers who manage foreign workers through professional instructors and is also actively working to resolve concerns about crime prevention among neighboring residents by operating a foreign voluntary patrol.
